After installing ISEE and plugging in all the customer info, usually the page updates and you get a section to put in the System ID info, Support Contract number, etc.

All that happens is the config window closes and I get the home page which looks like the attached image.

Is this a JVM issue? or something else? Has anyone seen it before?

Steven
Steven,

Is this HP-UX and what is the OS version? The issue is most likely Java issue.

Take a look at /opt/hpservices/etc/motprefs and make a note of Java path (JVM_LOC =).

If it shows an invalid path or pointing to an older Java version, you may change the path to point to a newer Java, prefer 1.4.xx.

After saving the file, you will need to stop/start hpservices.

If this is not HP-UX, please provide more details.

Hope this helps,

Steven,

This problem has not been seen on Windows Servers, please provide:
1. Model number
2. ISEE version number (from Control Panel > Add & Remove programs)

The only time I've seen on a Windows Server was a bad ISEE installation package, the user removed ISEE, downloaded a fresh copy and had no problem after all.

Regards,

DL145G2 and the latest available download from hp for ISEE. I un-installed it already so I can;t get the version, but would think it is 3.95

Steven
