Many Many Problems With RSP and SIM 5.3

Hello Freinds,

i really appriciate your support, i can't find a solution to my problems,.
i am configuring HP_UX versio 11.11 to support RSP, yes fine, i have follow the Cook Book v 1.4 , every thing is installed proprely, the serevr is discovred by SIM,

i have the bellow issues:
1- the entitlement is done, but the warranty Not
2-i can't send test events from HP-UX servers to CIM server
3-have somone have a doc step with step to configure HP-UX version 11.11 with RSP?

Once you have discovered you system on to SIM.

You have to subscribe for WBEM/ EMS Events.

On SIM you can go to Options Tab> Events> Subscribe for Wbem events.

here select the you system from where you wanted the events from.

2. For sending test events

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/send_test_event fpl_em
/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/send_test_event ia64_corehw

you should be seeing these two events on SIM.

before you should also be seeing these events in

local system in /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log

event number should be 103.

hello,

i can execute the command to seend test evetns,
but i cna't see them in the event Viiewe, bellow the ouput
>#evweb eventviewer -L

Please check if you have received the events in

/var/opt/resmon/log/event.log

i see there are two events which have reached event.log

Event Time..........: Thu Jul 16 11:41:52 2009
Severity............: INFORMATION
Monitor.............: fpl_em
Event #.............: 103
System..............: kirk

and

Event Time..........: Thu Jul 16 11:42:03 2009
Severity............: INFORMATION
Monitor.............: ia64_corehw
Event #.............: 103
System..............: kirk

check if this has come in SIM.

else

check if you have the subscriptions

evweb subscribe -L

and also i can subcribe the Webem event from SIM to this server

If you are allowed to restart cimserver, please try doing that.

cimserver -s;
cimserver

also see if there are any errors in /var/opt/sfm/log/sfm.log

If the following error still persist

Try to swremove SysFaultMgmt and then re swinstall SysFaultMgmt without changing any option.
