Insight Remote Support RSA5.80 installation fails

Hallo Community,

I'm currently try to install RSA_A.05.80 on a HP Insight Control 7.1 system but it fails with following error message:

Failed to register WSC files. Please manully register WSC files by executing register.cmd in CLI directory.

I have done as proposed by installation message but it doesn't work.

So I tried to investigate where the problem could be.

I run register.cmd from command line with output results in a text file and checked this, please find below the results

Successfully registered "D:\program files (x86)\hp\RSSWM\CLI\\HPISEEservice.wsc"
Successfully registered all .WSC files
Creating Sched Tasks
Error "Creating Audit Scheduled Task"

So it seems there is no problem with registering the WSC files but an error occurs at "Creating Audit Scheduled Task".

Operating system:Windows Server 2008 Standard x64

Version: Systems Insight Manager 7.1.0 - Windows

Build version: C.07.01.00.00

Build date:2012-06-06 17:20

Does anyone knows how to fix this Problem or could advise?

Hi Community,

I hope there is someone active in here.

After I have tried several installations fo RSA5.80 I tried to install RSA5.70. the installation have had worked but configurations failes with following error message:

Failed to connect to HP Support Center, please click back and verify your proxy settings. <= They are correct, checked several times

For additional infirmation refere to following log file: c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\hp\rsp\5.70.0.0\RSSWM_Install.log
