When I run the device discovery, I get the floowing errors:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Protocol:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Simple Network Management Protocol Version 1 (SNMPV1)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Service:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Subscription Manager&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Type:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;SUBSCRIPTION&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Status:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;FAILURE&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Description:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Unable to determine whether the IRS host server is configured as an SNMP trap destination on biesx01.corp.pilatmedia.com.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Detailed:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Unable to determine whether the IRS host server is configured as an SNMP trap destination on biesx01.corp.pilatmedia.com. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;and also&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Service:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Subscription Manager&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Type:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;SUBSCRIPTION&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Status:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;FAILURE&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Description:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The WBEM subscription to biesx01.corp.pilatmedia.com has failed.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Detailed:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The WBEM subscription to biesx01.corp.pilatmedia.com has failed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;using the vmware cli I can verify that the IRS host is the target of the snmp traps -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Current SNMP agent settings:&lt;BR /&gt;Enabled : 1&lt;BR /&gt;UDP port : 161&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Communities :&lt;BR /&gt;public&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Notification targets :&lt;BR /&gt;10.15.15.228@162/public&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Options :&lt;BR /&gt;EnvEventSource=indications&lt;BR /&gt;engineid=00000063000000a10a0f0f2a&lt;BR /&gt;loglevel=info&lt;BR /&gt;syscontact=Root&amp;lt;root@localhost&amp;gt; (configure /etc/snmp/snmp.local.conf)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help will do&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CZ&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In ESX 5.1 and above&amp;nbsp;SNMP is by default Disabled.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you enable and configure it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But the better Way is to use WBEM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you use the HP ESX Image with the Integrated HP Agents oder did you Integrate the the Agents other Way?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Look at Chapter 6 on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;" HP Insight Remote SupportMonitored Devices Configuration Guide Software Version: 7.0.8"&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>VMware ESX uses&lt;BR /&gt;SNMP for communication. VMware ESXi uses&lt;BR /&gt;WBEM for communication. you can not use esxi with SNMP</description>
