      <title>HP RS v7.5 Services Not Starting After Upgrade from v7.4</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just run the upgrade to v7.5 on a configured and functioning&amp;nbsp;installation of RS v7.4, and now neither services will start. No helpful Event Log messages explaining why (other than that the service terminated unexpectedly). In the hprsmain-stdout.log I get:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Commons Daemon procrun stdout initialized&lt;BR /&gt;Error occurred during initialization of VM&lt;BR /&gt;java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Poking around it seems that this is a not uncommon error with Java where the paths to the required version have been specified incorrectly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any takers?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
