can OSEM be configured to send local email to an SMTP server that needs a User and Password authentication? If not, could similar email notifications be achieved by selecting "Support Analyst is assigned to the incident" in the ISEE notificaton options? I believe cases get assigned automatically once they reach HP. Simply put, we need an email from somewhere to say ISEE has logged a call.
Neil,

With the latest ISEE A.03.95 version, you have option to configure:

1. Incident is received by HP
2. WFM case has been created
3. Map request
4. Incident is closed

You can select none, all or anyone of the above and an email will be sent to the Contact person.

Hope this helps,
thanks, those other email options should suffice. I will assume from your response that OSEM is NOT able to sent SMTP mail to a server that requires authentication as described.
