    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure mad daemon is running (ps -ef | grep mad).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try to stop mad, make sure it's no longer running, then start it up again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you trying to access the GUI from a different network? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>Another Error in the Web configuration</title>

      <description>Hi again ISEE experts&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now i have two servers, a rx4640 and a SD64A.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;all the pre-requisites are installed and configured, but when i go to the web page on the mozilla and type:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;http://server:5060/start.html&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it must go to the configuration page, but it frezze show me only this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Starting HP Instant Support Enterprise Edition...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ive waitin for more than 15 minutes and nothing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i try to stop or start the service i get this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[epdevit]:/home&amp;gt; /sbin/init.d/hpservices stop&lt;BR /&gt;Failed to stop client: sleeping (5 sec)&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:    matcli -x returned 3 : CL_ERROR_COMM&lt;BR /&gt;[epdevit]:/home&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[epdevit]:/home&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[epdevit]:/home&amp;gt; /sbin/init.d/hpservices start&lt;BR /&gt;NOTE:     hpservices already started&lt;BR /&gt;[epdevit]:/home&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ive re installed the agent, but i can resolve the problem, i need i little help with this.       <description>Its the same network, but i dont know what happend when il try to connect to another PC, for this i make the configuration for a localhost. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the Daemon mad its already runnin, but i try to restart it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ill try this tomorrow.       <description>Is your hosts resolves properly from DNS?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check /etc/hosts and /etc/resolv.conf and also /etc/nsswitch.conf files.</description>

      <description>Here are a few things you can do:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. ps -ef | grep mad, make sure there is only ONE mad running, if you see more than one, use kill -9 and kill all mad processes, then start up hpservices again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2. Verify that only ONE mad is running, then access the GUI.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3. Make sure you can nslookup the Unix host, also able to ping it from your desktop before accessing the GUI.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;does mad.log contain anything more?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Path is /var/opt/hpservices/log/mad.log. Usually it helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Fabio</description>
