I see this quite often on correctly configured agents. I retry a few times and it finally seems to take. Sometimes I find the sliders have been partially set, e.g. I aim for 80 and 90 and find they've been set to 80 and 83!
I've no idea why this doesn't always work.

I am getting an error in Insight Manager when trying to set Disk Thresholds on servers. It says:

"Could not set the disk threshold, the agent did not accept the request."

The HPManager account is a member of Domain Admins so I cant work out why this is happening ?

Has a Read/Write community string been established on the device? Has a trust relationship been established between HP SIM and the agents on the device?

If you are using 4.2, you can use "Configure or Repair Agents" to straigten out these kind of issues.
