<title>topic VPM not aquiring updates in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/vpm-not-aquiring-updates/m-p/3490180#M10122</link>
<description>Ok, I've fixed almost every error that the VPM "aquire updates" task has thrown at me. I've fixed the authentication issues (it's now using a domain account) and I've fixed the "Java not found" error by loading Java on the server (the version that installs when you connect to SIM).&lt;BR /&gt;Now I have an issue I can't resolve myself. When I execute an aquire update the error output is "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/hp/mx/portal/VPM/MxTmCommandTool Exception in thread "main"". Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how I can fix it?</description>
