Hi,
we are using our SIM since last year summer (july/august) with about 800 systems, the size of the database is about 350 MB.

Hi,

Just curious about a sizing situation. Is there a document that indicates on average how much database space a server takes after it's been discovered and put in SQL2000? I'm trying to size the database ahead of time for approval (and setup info) for the DBA. I don't really care about how much SIM takes initially, I'm more concerned with roughly how much an individual server eats up in the database. We're talking about 1000 servers initially. Not worried about Historical Data collection at this point either.
THANKS!
Ed
