    <description>We have the same error.&lt;BR /&gt;I want to pay attention to that it was working when SIM was first installed but now not.&lt;BR /&gt;The configuration of firewall to allow http and ftp for SIM server.&lt;BR /&gt;Through ftp I can reach a directory on ftp&lt;BR /&gt;and also security to the temp folder was set to everyone full controll, nothing helps.</description>

      <description>When trying to configure the automatic updates on VCRM we get an error connecting to the ftp site listed below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Error: unable to connect. &lt;BR /&gt;An extended error was returned from the server.550 /pub/softlib/software2/COL3293/catalog.xml: Not a directory.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Any help appreciated</description>

      <description>Sounds like VCRM hit the ftp site during an update  Ignore it and see if it continually happens.  Until that time, don't worry about it.  :)</description>

      <description>First ensure you can view the contents of:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;A href="ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software2/COL3293/" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software2/COL3293/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in a browser window. If you can not, then you probably have a registry setting or firewall setting preventing you from getting to the site. If you can view the contents, then you can try changing the account under which the service runs. Configure Version Control Repository Manager&lt;BR /&gt;Windows (Win32) service to log on with a user account, instead of LocalSystem, which&lt;BR /&gt;is the default. On my system, the localsystem account did not have access to FTP site, but once configured with a valid user account, things are all good.</description>
