Hi,
I managed to receive the “System Status” event via email, but not from “Uncleared Event Status”, any idea?

Hi Heero Tidus,

I think you need to provide some more information. Its not clear to me, which s/w on which platform you are using. Also, is it happening on some specific h/w.

Hi, sorry for lack of information!

Im running HP Systems Insight Manager 4.2, Win2K Server. When I access the main page of HP Sys IM, right hand top corner will show the â Uncleared Event Statusâ and â System Statusâ . I created an â Automatic Event Handlingâ task as below:

Event Category â > is â > Sys IM Event --> Type name is â Anyâ .
Select System --> where --> Hardware Status --> is --> Critical/Major/Minor

Any event trigger to â System Statusâ will notify me via email, but event trigger to â Uncleared Event Statusâ wont trigger email to me

Example: If one of my server Power Supply fail, a new event will send to â Uncleared Event Statusâ , but â System Statusâ wont show the event.

So how to configure the HP Sys IM to trigger email alert to me if new
