SIM 4.2 on same server as RDP? Any issues?

Hi All,

I wanted to know if I ran SIM 4.2 on the same server as RDP 2.0 would I run into any issues?

We have it up and running using SQL Server DBs.

HP SIM 4.2SP2 + RDP 2.0

There is an issuse if you also have Virtual Machine Management Pack installed.
Sometimes you need to stopp the SIM and Altiris services before you start the VMM service, after that you can start SIM and Altiris services again.

There are also problem installing Vulnerability & Patch Management Pack on the same server as RDP/Altiris.

These issues can have been fixed in SIM 4.2 SP2 and/or in the upcoming RDP 2.1.
