I have seen the same thing on our DL320's. Uninstalling the MegaRaid IDE utilities solves the problem but also removes some of the basic disk monitoring features. Hopefully a resolution is out there somewhere!
HP Chaps
With the VCA as supplied by Support Pack 7.30A the status of the ATA Raid Utility is a bit awry.

It reports the installed version as 2.5.32.7, which seems to be cp003712.exe and listed as:
HP ProLiant Integrated ATA RAID Management Utility for Windows
But, it reports the latest version in the VCRM as version 7.30.32.0 which seems to be cp005370.exe and listed as:
HP ProLiant CSB-6 ATA-100 IDE RAID Management Utility for Windows 2000/Server 2003
The text in the VCA Screen is as per the last listing.

This was as reported on a DL320 G2.

I also have this issue. Anyone figured it out yet? Even with the latest ATA RAID Menagement Utility loaded (2.5.32.7B) it still lists 7.30.32.0 as the latest version. If you try to install 7.30.32.0 (which doesn't even seem to be the same utility, as suggested above) it tells you there's no need to load it because you don't have the supported hardware.
Attached is a screen shot of the issue.
