topic How do I disable the Management Processor in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

We have several servers that show as having a hardware problem with the Management processor. We don't use iLo and the servers that don't have drivers on them are fine. All the ones that have drivers loaded for iLo are indicating a hardware failure, probbly because there is no network to the port. I don't know why some are enabled and others are disabled. I can't find any common denominator for the systems that indicate a failure. Some are DL360s and others are DL560s. OSs are different and versions of Insight Manager is 7.0-7.2. I would think perhaps BIOS for iLo is on and on others it is disabled. Anyone know what I need to disable so that my HW errors go away?

I noticed the same thing when I upgraded the Insight Agents to v7.30. I also don't use iLo yet and I think the agent is honking for that reason. Go into "Control Panel/HP Management Agents" and remove "Remote Insight Information" from the active agents, restart the services.
While booting the server, push F8 when iLo mentions it to go into config.
In the configuration scrren there is an option to disable the iLo
So the errors also must be gone then...
