https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/move-sim-database/m-p/3542468#M11903 Here are few things that I can think of.<BR /><BR />1) Backup your setup that you are currently running :)<BR />2) Copy the entire database to your remote server.<BR />3) The DSN's should be edited to point to the remote SQL server.<BR />4) there is a file named database.props in <INSTALL dir="">\Systems Insight Manager\config folder. Here the database host name has to be changed.<BR />5) The administrator credentials of the system running HPSIM should match the credentials on the remote SQL server.
