I'm battling with the same problem, even trying to execute a task like the Windows Netstat command fails if run under any account other than the one I installed HPSIM and OpenSSH in.
I can log into the account using SSH / Putty, so it doesn't seem to be an OpenSSH issue.
I've run mxagentconfig and it has generated the SSH keys for the account in the User directory. Still HPSIM fails with what seems to be an Authentication failure.

I cannot deploy the Proliant Support Pack when logged on to HPSIM using an account other than the service account it was installed under.

The tasks fail immediately with the following on STDERR:
EXCEPTION CLASS: com.hp.mx.exceptions.MxFailedAuthenticationException
EXCEPTION: Authentication failed.

If I log on as the service account the deployment works fine, but I don't want to give that password out to the rest of the operators that will be deploying the PSP to other managed servers.
If you have already run through the instructions in the release notes, try running mxagentconfig against the hpSIM server itself.

I'm also working with Rodney in HP tech support for HPSIM and we have gone through running mxagentconfig against the CSM.

I've even logged on to the CSM as the user I want to run tasks as and run mxagentconfig. The GUI mode didn't work, but the command-line mode worked. I restarted OpenSSHD and _still_ have the problem.

This is currently the most obnoxious problem I'm having.

Recap: I can only use the HPSIM install user to run tasks such as Initial PSP deployment.
-DK

I get the same error, even when logged in under the SIM service account. They better have a solution at HPWorld for this, this is ridiculous!

Es un problema de autenticacion de SSH.

Revisa el archivo "c:\Program Files\OpenSSH\etc\passwd".

Debe estar correctamente indicado el directorio HOME del usuario. Por ejemplo: /home/Administrator

Saludos atte.
