In each case, this service is running two different processes, using about 30M of memory. Why are two processes of this service running? We ended one instance, and the homepage opened just fine. One is a parent process or monitor process and the other is actually the worker process that spins off all the threads that handle activities. If the worker process gets killed or goes down for some reason the main process will spin a new one back up.
