topic NetWare 6.5 and disk thresholds in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Hi,

We are trying to setup System Insite Manager to monitor our NetWare 6.5 servers. We are using version 4.2 SP2. The install goes fine and we are able to add our test servers into the system insight manger software. When we try to set a disk threshold, under the 'Tool launch OK?' column the message "No, is not WINNT, LINUX or IPX or OPENVMS: wrong Operating system Name." is displayed. Any ideas?? I verified that the agents are running on the server, I used the 7.30a support pack to install them. The servers are Proliant 1600's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Frank,

You can not set disk thresholds on Netware servers from SIM.

To set disk thresholds you need to login to the System Management Homepage on each Netware server as the administrator user and then you can go to the "file system space used" link and set the thresholds there.

I've noticed the same problem with HPSIM 4.2 too. In v4.1 you were able to set disk thresholds for NetWare servers. Why have this possibility been removed in HPSIM 4.2?
