And the array should cope. But I don't know of a means of simulating that.<BR /><BR />Your name suggests you may be running on SUSE, on Windows there's an HP Management Agents GUI that has a send trap feature. This generates a trap that creates a Major alert.<BR />Useful if you want to test alerting in general. Not sure if similar functionality is available on Suse.
