Trouble with Event Handling

All of a sudden, I no longer receive email notifications. When I went to manage/create events, I always receive this error (view attachment) and I can go no further in the wizard. Any idea what may be causing this?

Ensure you have the most recent version of HP SIM installed (4.2 SP2). What version of JRE do you have installed?

I ran the updates and I now have a screen which does not contain all the possible options in the drop down box. Then when I hit Next, nothing happens. Any thoughts?

check your permission had the same problem. Make sure you have CMS authorization

Ok, this is very strange. I am now encountering this problem as well.

I assume I should be able to select from the various system groupings such as server, clients, printers, racks, etc. I don't have those options available when setting up an event notification. The options I have available are the same as Cynthia has shown us in her attached picture. This appears to be an error or a bug to me.

Has anyone else found a fix to this? Hopefully HP is monitoring this thread and can address this issue if it is indeed a bug.

I've attached an all inclusive list of the available options from the drop down. It seems to me there should be more system types available here.
