It's working now. It appeared that it was my account in Insight. I tried removing and re adding authorizations to my account and that did nothing. I deleted my account(which also took my event with it) and I was able to once again create a managed task.

Thank for the info!!

I and attempting to edit or create a Managed Task I get to the part where it wants the servers I wish to monitor and I get a Java error on the page. The error says that "Line 885, char 5, Error: Object doesn't support this property or method, Code 0". Now I can not create or modify any tasks. I am using Java 1.5.0.

Thanks

I had this same issue. After a couple days of pounding sand the fix ended up being really simple. To fix it I created a local admin account on the SIM server. Gave it full administrator rights in SIM. Logged in using the local account and went to Manage tasks and created a task and it worked. Not only that but it started working for my AD enabled account as well. Don't know why or what the problem was other than it had something to do with permissions.

Hope that helps :)

Had a similar problem. Have found that the local admin works but it has not resolved for my AD accounts.
