Hello we have observed SNMP Traps with specific trap ID18005. Thos traps should conatin the IP-address of the NIC stored under SNMP OID ipAdEntAddr.
We have observed, that Windows CIM Clients send the correct OID:
ipAdEntAddr=1.3.6.1.2.4.20.1.1.10.154.88.15
With the last for numbers being the IP-address itself.
However from LINUX Clients we receive:
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.20.1.1.10.154.88.15
Plese note the additional .1.. We forward this event to SNMP Trap receiver, which do not recognise them due to this fact.
Has anyone found the same problem?
Is there fix?
