I know that they have incorporated IM and service sonctrol manager into 1 product. I have downloaded this to test but when I load it states I need the old version to complete. There is no dependency for hpSIM on SCM, and, in fact, SCM needs to be completely removed from the system before you should install hpSIM. (A 4.1 release of hpSIM is expected late March/early April that will perform an upgrade on a system currently running SCM on HP-UX or IM7 on Windows).<BR /><BR />There are several pre-requisites for HP-UX installation documented on page 25 of the Installation and User Guide.
