Management Processor / Server Association

Is there any way to manually associate the server with the management processor.
It seems hit and miss as to whether or not they associate and I have a number of servers that haven't associated.

On those non associating servers, in their ILO check the tab Administration>SNMP/Insight Manager Settings

configure the destinations and ILO reporting

The latest softpaq for SIM SP30629 includes fixes for RILOE disassociation and may help with your problem.

Unfortunately there is no manual method to associate a management processor with a specific server.

As the previous poster indicated the Insight Manager Integration Level of data returned must be configured on the ILO/RILOE to either medium or high for SIM to collect the data needed to form the association.

no, the patches are only being created for SIM 4.2 SP2
