I have a server that keeps on rebooting itself due to the ASR setting. When i attempt to change the ASR setting to "CONTINUE" from "REBOOT" the screen flashes and the setting stays on "REBOOT." I have full admin rights to the server. Any ideas?

Check you have a suitable Read/Write community name in SNMP.

I do have the proper rights in SNMP. I found out the quick and easy way to fix this. I rebooted and changed the setting in the BIOS. I called HP and they verified that in some servers the ASR needs to be changed in the BIOS rather than thru Insight Manager. Most of the newer server are like this. The server I was experiencing this on is a ML530 G2. Even though you may have the correct rights in SIM the BIOS takes precedence over SIM.

Thanks
