topic Changing SIM Account for SQL Connection in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I just did a new install of SIM with application and DB one one server. The install was performed using the local administrator account. However, due to security concerns, my DBAs would like to change the account that is used to connect to SQL from SIM (use a non-administrator account). How can this be done?

Since HPSim requires sufficient privilege to create/modify databases, I was not permitted to use an administrative level account on our SQL server. I installed using a local MSDE database instead. This has been working well for me.<BR /><BR />If you have a brand-new install with few or no customizations yet, you might want to consider this option to satisfy your DBA's
