I have two DL380 G3 Servers that I need to configure to utilize their two built in NICS. I was wondering if anyone has come accross any how-to articles on the topic as I have been unable to find any. The Nics will be on the same ip subnet and their primary purpouse will be to provide redundant connectivity and load balancing.

I beleive that would be something you would want to address with your switch. Many layer 2 and 3 managed switches have the ability to monitor the traffic directed to the server and spread the bandwidth between the 2 switched ports.

You can also bond 2 ports on your switch together to act as 1.

Trying to load balance at the server level would be too late in the process since the traffic has already been sent down a particular cable from the switch towards the NIC.
