topic Links are no available on agent's system management homepage in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I have setup a new agent to experiment with HP SIM before it goes live. So far so good. However when I connect to the system management homepage for the new agent, the only link tab I have is the 'home' tab. I am missing the 'settings' and 'logs' tabs. I am sure SSH is installed ok as I can carry out all other related tasks, just don't get these links. Therefore I cannot import a trust certificate etc.
I would appreciate any advice available. Thanks.

Hmmmm...just a long shot, but did you setup SNMP correctly? Specifically, did you enable SNMP Sets for the agents on the test box (and also the correct community strings for the SNMP service settings)?

See attached bitmap for SNMP sets...

Nelson

Hello again Nelson.

Thanks for replying to my questions. I do believe I have having this problem due to the confusion with read/write community strings under SNMP.

I have tried to clarify my confusion in the other message but basically I am nt sure if all the strings should be the same, i.e. '123' for all strings, read and write.

Thanks Nelson.
