We have Sim 4.2 on windows 2003 Standard. Yesterday Sim sent out false disk threshold warnings (about 26 pages) on our clustered nodes every 20mins for about 3hours.

I know this is not a lot of info, but I was hoping someone will have seen this before. Please let me know if you need more details. any help is appreciated. Thanks

Jim,

This problem has been resolved in HP SIM 4.2 SP2. Apply the service pack and see if the problem still exists.

Ricky

I am running 4.2-SP2 and still getting false thresholds, even though I have specifically removed all thresholds through the menu item (Configure-Disk Thresholds-Remove All Disk Thresholds).

We have another mechanism that we use through an ASP web page, querying the SIM Database. Information is gathered from data collection, (populates SQL DC_HistoricalOutput and CIM_Logical Disk tables).
