We have one of our ML350 servers that does not show Recovery data like all of it's 115 siblings (all were "cloned" from the same master system and should be identical except local IP, etc).

In Insight Manager (we use the old 5.50 version), when you click on Recovery you should get Auto Recovery, Environment, Power Supply, etc.

On this system, everything except Corr. Memory and Remote Insight is greyed out.

Also, when you look at Configuration then Recovery data, you get no information on Auto Server Recovery, Environment, System Fans, Temperature, etc.

We can't figure out what might be different about this one system (if it is hardware or some agent setting).

Do you have all the agents enabled on the server in question. In control panel on the server, you should see the "HP Management Agents" applet which allows you to enable and disable various HP management agents. Check that....

Additionally, you may want to try posting this in a different forum. This one is for HP SIM 4.2, and you are using the older Compaq 5.5 version.

We are using Redhat Advanced Server 2.1 (so there is not "Control Panel" to check).

Also, I went through the list of forums and by their names I can't see one that would represent older versions of Insight Manager.
