topic Insight Manager Slowing down SQL server in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Insight Manager is constantly hitting our SQL server and effecting its performance. Is there anyway to either tune SQL server or Insight Manager to decrease the load on SQL server?

Eric,

I ran into a similar issue when I installed SIM 5.0 SP2 on our "console" server, the installation generated database instances on a shared SQL server (HP Systems Insight Manager = Insight_50_0_141458519 and HP Virtual Machine Management Server = vmm_db_v2) and we started experiencing an issue where the DBAs couldn't view Current Activity/Process Info from the SQL Server Enterprise Manager console.

I never got the opportunity to determine which instance was the culprit for the problem and will now have to find a home for these database instances so they don't impact production databases in the future.

Did you ever get a response on your issue? Thanks.
