      <description>Hi all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After upgrade from 4.2 sp2 to 5.0 i can't define reports, because there are no items to select in Step 2 of the report wizard (No data available). See also the attachment.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone can help? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!</description>

      <description>I tried both commands and they were terminated succesfully with "ListReportHandler success".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But the problem still exist. There are no items to select.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any other ideas?</description>

      <description>I too have this same problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I first realised there was an issue when I tried to retrieve Data Collection Reports (from the "Tools &amp;amp; Links" tab) for a given server and it returned "No Data Available for this Device.".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Im stumped as to why this has stopped working..</description>

      <description>Allthough this might be not the ultimate solution this one worked for me.&lt;BR /&gt;This is a bit of a destructive method because it clears most entry's in your database.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The command "mxinitconfig -r" clears your database and the command "mxinitconfig -a" rebuilds your database. After I've run these commands and reconfiguring some entry's (discovery, users etc.) I've ran a discovery and voila I can run the reports with the correct data.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What I didn't try is to skip the mxinitconfig -a first. This might rebuild you database with the correct entry's without removing the current data.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope to be of some help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Grtx,&lt;BR /&gt;Erwin van Londen</description>

Unfortunately nothing changed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Because i have a lot of users configured i don't tried the "mxinitconfig -r" command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps that would be the solution. First i have to ghost my Server.</description>

      <description>Erwin,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the original info. The mxinitconfig -r fixes the issue, but completely removes all data (as you suggested). Running msinitconfig -a afterwards didnt bring any data back so I tried a restore and this basically brings back the original problem of missing data.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Looks like I'll have to re-init my installation and re-add all the servers/printers etc..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks for your help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Chris.</description>

      <description>The only thing that works was uninstall/reinstall the HP SIM. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That was a lot of work:&lt;BR /&gt;Create again all scheduled tasks&lt;BR /&gt;Reconfigure Automatic EventHandling&lt;BR /&gt;Recreate all Users, toolboxes and authorizations&lt;BR /&gt;Recreate Email-Settings / Global Protocol Settings&lt;BR /&gt;Discover all Systems&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

Hofstetter,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As you say this is a lot of work, but you dont need to uninstal reinstal, just run mxinitconfig -r, then -a and then redo all the discovery and other tasks you mentioned.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its virtually the same as uninstalling and reinstalling but cuts out the time to do so.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Chris.</description>
