Hi,

i've installed hpmgmt-7.2.0-vmware on a ProLiant BL20p G3, 4GB Ram with ESX-Server 2.5

The installation was successfully without any errors. But I'm not able to start the hpsmhd daemon.

Errorlogmessage:

Restarting the server doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Was this a new installation of the agent? or an update?
You need to removbe any agents before installation.
Perhaps try running the uninstall script before restarting.
Also note 7.40 is now available.

this was a complete new installation. But i will uninstall 7.2 and try i with version 7.4.

Lets hope the best
