topic Not using VCP agent... in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Has anyone implemented SIM and not installed a Vesion control agent on the workstation? I think ,I have not knowingly installed SIM on a HP workstation that is not by any SIM agents. If I update all the updates manaully and deploy them through SIM will it solve this issue or are there more issues I have not foreseen?

It will not cause any problems. It is not mandatory to run agents on the machine that hosts SIM. You need to have agents installed on the managed nodes to manage them in a better way using SIM.
