    <description>yes its set to allow from any host and the managed notes have the server as destination.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the community name is set to public with read create rights, ive already tested with read create but theres no other result.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;with "die agent" ive meant "the agents". im german an just typed wrong :)</description>

      <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ive got some problems with the hp sim. i want to add some hp workstations (xw5000 eg). ive installed the hp sim on an vmware server and die agent on the workstation.. snmp is installed and configured too.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i dont get any information or snmp trap from the workstation into the hp sim.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;same way i done with a desktop pc, it works!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;where could be the problem? ive searching for hours and no solution yet... &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;sebastian</description>

      <description>On the server that is hosting SIM, have you configured the SNMP service to accept packets from any hosts? Also, on the managed nodes have you set your CMS as the SNMP trap destination? And what do you mean by "...die agent on the workstation..."?</description>
