Why use the old certificate? Set up one client to trust both HPSim servers (both old and new certificates) - then (from the old server) 'Replicate Agent Settings', and select BOTH certificates to be replicated to all the other clients. Once everything is stable on the new HPSim server, and you have deactivated the old one - remove the old certificate from one client, and then (from the new server) 'Replicate Agent Settings' again to all the other clients.

Good Luck !!

We run SIM 4.2 on a DL360 and setted up a new installation of SIM 5.0 on another hardware (ML 370). The Problem is the import of the server certificate from the old SIM into the new SIM 5.0 installation.
We want to connect to the clients via "trust by certificate" without providing a new certificate to all agents/clients.
Using the "Configure or repair Agents"-tool is no solution because every client (About 300) has its own password wich will mean to much "workload" for us (Typing lots of credentials).
Has anyone an idea how to import the old certificate to the new SIM?

Thanks a lot...
