Bob,
I see where it is, but I've no idea how to correct it. I've a Proliant 800 here on NT4 and there doesn't seem to be any way of clearing this log.
I've got Read/Create access to SNMP and there doesn't appear to be any additional options from within IM to clear these errors.

It's obviously not related to the IML which I suggested earlier. I can only think there might be another Utility somewhere that can clear the Critical Errors Log, or a reboot of the Server is required.

Go to the Integrated Management Log and mark any items cleared.

You can do this either from winin IM or use the IML GUI from the Console Panel on the Server.

Thanks for the reply.

When I run the IML I get

"The Driver Either Does no Support the Integrated Management Log or There is no Integrated Management Log on this System"

Do I need to install this just to cleat the event?

The Server is an NT4 Prolient 850R with Support Pack 6.10.20

From Insight Manager 7SP2 I click on the client. The minor error is reporting on the "SubSystem Status Information" Hyperlink. I click on this and it takes me to the Management agents on the server <RECOVERY><CRITIAL errors="">. It has this error

! * 02/21/2004 9am Abnormal program termination
NT BugCheck Data = STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x8013A23E, 0x00000000, 0x00610077

I am unable to clear this. Even though I have cleared the event from the Insight console (Under All Events for this Device, Clear Event).
</CRITIAL></RECOVERY>
