Have there been any group policy templates that have been created for HP SIM that can be applied in Active directory under Windows 2003

Dont think WIN 2003 have any group policies especially directed at HP SIM, but it does have policies for the protocols HP SIM uses, such as SNMP...

I have already used policies for setting up SNMP, what I wanted to do was to set up the management agents on teh servers automatically rather than having to remember to set them on each server

Hello.

Why don't you use Version Control Repository to build you an custom setup package ?

I guess you can use this to automatic configure the agents.

I use RDP from HP, and then I have configured all settings in advance. So when I do and unattended install from RDP, all the agents are configured automatic. All I have to do is register the host in HPSIM, or set the feature that allows HPSIM to register all hosts that sends an SNMP message to the server.

This has solved my issues :)
