7.4 support software

Under the version control update I am not able to install any new software regardless if it is yellow or orange because I get a message saying "agent setting prohibit installing software". Any idea? It is a Windows 2003 dl380 G4 server. All my other servers are working fine. I have tried everything including reinstalling SIM 7.4.

Check the settings on the Version Control Agent on the client and make sure it have the correct access to the Version Control Repository. The newer versions no longer use the standard accounts used in the past it uses standard OS authentication these days.

Yes it is setup correctly administrator is the account. I can compare my drivers with the repository because some are green and some are not. I just update them

find the file
C:\hp\hpsmh\data\cgi-bin\vcagent\xsl.en\inventory.xls

and change the following :
