Another option that I have would be to use some sort of single sign-on. I can find hints of this, but it mostly looks like single signon from the SIM server to a managed server's homepage.
I would like to set up a link to the HPSIM server for a user account that has "User" access. I have created the user with the limited views that I want them to have, but can not get the page to auto login. Any ideas on how to set that up?

I would say, take a look at the source code for the login page, and see if you can locate the variable names for the username, password, and domain name. See if you can pass these to the page via the url, and add them to that as required.

I'm just talking out of my you know what here, as I havent really taken a look at it myself. But its an idea, maybe it will pan out, maybe not. Good luck.

--Rob

This feature is not in HPSIM by default.
Also, the sessionID is created uniquely at each login to HPSIM.
I don't think you'd be able to set up an automated login using the current version.

Thanks for the inputs back, I got it. After looking at the code I was able to find the correct variables to log in. Let me know if anyone is interested in how I did it.
