I have recently installed Systems Insight Manager 5.0 from scratch and not able to get the email notification to work. For "last run" is always says never and I don't receive any emails in my inbox. I have it set to send emails on all events and still don't receive any email. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecitated.

If the last run is None, then no events have matched the criteria.
Try setting up a couple of e-mail tasks, one for All Major Alerts another for All Critical Alerts.
To do that, set up a new Event Notification, select the "I will supply details button" (not sure of the exact text) then for the Severity select Severity is Critical and then All Systems.
Save and repeat for Major.
Once done, of you have SNMP configured okay on a remote Server (Trap Destination) then use the HP Management Agents GUI (See Control Panel) to sen a trap.
That should generate a Major Alert which should trigger the e-mail.
