When I use MXMIB, it doesnt recognize the user. I have to use --user --pass on mxmib with my account that has a simple password

Is there a workaround to get mxmib to accept complex passwords (my particular administrator password has a ; in it)

I don't think SP2 addresses this.

Let me make sure I understand the problem. If you just use MXMIB without overriding the u/p, it doesn't work. You feel this is because you have something complex in your password? This is odd because at that point - if you just run the command - HPSIM won't get the password at all, just use the fact that you're already logged on.

Does your username have any special characters?
