Event Configuration

I am trying to get a notification via email of Disk Fails on HP servers using HPSIM 5.0.
I see the status change in the HS column to Minor but no event gets generated and thus I can't send a email based on events.
How do I configure this to work?
Note: This is a default new installation using the Wizard.

You need to use Automatic Event Handling
See "Setting Up Automatic Event Handling"
on page 103 (chapter 12) of this document

Thanks for the reply. I have allready done this. What I am trying to understand is can you generate events with emails without having to configure the agents to send traps?

I also have Procurve manager running on the same server. Do you know if this is supported?
