I have a similar problem Richard, in that the dedicated swapfile partitions also send false alerts - I filter the emails using an Outlook Rule.

Maybe someone has a better solution? :)

All the best,
I've got a scheduled task that runs every week to set disk threshold on my server estate. The results are sent via email alerts.

However, HP SIM seems to be reporting on CD ROM drives as well, so every server that has a cd in the drive reports as a full disk thus sending an email alert.

Does anyone know how to stop this?

Cheers in advance
