topic install problem - stuck at dbase config in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Installing on 2000 box.
Chose custom install as I need to change the path. Installed 2 out of 4 parts, but when I get to SIM itself, I am at the database configuration dialog. Administrator is greayed out, I put in correct password, then domain is greyed out (NAME OF BOX), and it is asking for database server name, which is the same as the server I am installing it on. It has SWL Server running.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Try adding the name of the IM SQL instance along with the server name i.e. server\instance.

have the same problem here...
and to add \dbname doesn't help either :(

also while configuring, the setup routine says : "HP Systems Insight Manager services will operate with the privileges of the currently logged in user, using the supplied password. To run services in a different user context, log in as the appropriate user and restart the installation."

and then it prompts for user/pw/db-server info,
wouldn't that mean that the sim services on the local machine would run in the same context as the (remote) db-admin ?

Same problem here. I'm still in the middle of the installation, but the way I got beyond this particular spot was to create a local account on the database server, identical to the one I use on the SIM server (account name and password), then adding that local account in the Logins of the database server... Looks to me that SIM is using Windows Authentication, not SQL Authentication.
