    <description>Could you describe how and on what platform the software was installed upon:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;a)OS and Patch level&lt;BR /&gt;b)HP SIM Version and SP level (were you upgraded)&lt;BR /&gt;c)VPM Version (From an upgrade)&lt;BR /&gt;d)any other security/patch/update related software&lt;BR /&gt;e)Version of IIS, and apps. using IIS.&lt;BR /&gt;f)SSL usage or not?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you have any idea what VPM operation was requested when this event started to happen?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you done a Patch Acquisition recently (when was your last patch acquistion?)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you see any Windows NT Event Log messages pertaining to VPM or STATScanner WSI moduls?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Has IIS been restarted recently?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any security settings been updated recently?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;tag</description>

      <description>I am getting this error and don't understand how or why its generated and how to fix it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Event Name: VPM Generic Internal Error&lt;BR /&gt;Event originator: chchmg01&lt;BR /&gt;Event Severity: Critical&lt;BR /&gt;Event received: 16-Nov-2005, 15:36:30&lt;BR /&gt;Event description: An internal error has been detected in VPM&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Deployed Host Name: chchmg01&lt;BR /&gt;Summary: VPM Generic Internal Error&lt;BR /&gt;Explanation: Unable to connnect to VPM scanner: "org.apache.axis.AxisFault: Unknown vendor advisory: MS03-020"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers&lt;BR /&gt;Steve</description>

      <description>The server is windows 2003 sp1 and IIS is that version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SIM is version 5.00 and vpm is 1.10, it was upgraded from the version 4.x .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All the components are on the same server.&lt;BR /&gt;I have tried a manula patch and we also have a schduled patch acquistion , but the number ms05-043 seems to be th last patch in the database.&lt;BR /&gt;No event log errors that I have noticed.(but I will have  acloser loo at that today and post again if any appear).&lt;BR /&gt;No updates to IIS or security changes.</description>

      <description>VPM 1.11 is required for use with HP SIM 5.0 or greater.
