Hi Joel,

You where right, the password was the bottleneck. I change it and it worked, now i can deploy software.
Are you saying this because the Task Results show 'Tool ran on: CMS (Central Management Server)' ? You'll notice that there is another field for 'Targets' which is where the destination is. The Initial PSP Install runs on the CMS and takes the targets as arguments.

Hi there,

I repeated the Intial deployment. I select a target server & the HP management pack (also check the setting like for the Version Control Agent, then it starts a download support pack to the CMS. When that's done i select 'Run Now'. When it is running it's showing Tool run on the CMS. And the target: is the hostname of the Central Management Server. When the deployment is completed, and i check the results. It's showing me: Installing Components On " ": The CMS server.

I don't understand why it selects the CMS server as it's target? Maybe i configured someting wrong?
By any chance would you have an "&" in the password you specify for the target server? We are currently investigating a problem where certain passwords cause the tasks to execute on the CMS instead of the intended target server.
