howto install management agents on a deskpro ex pc

I would like to install the insight management agents on a compaq deskpro ex p866 running windows 2000 server. But when I try to install them I get this message: "The installation program couldn't find the appropriate system management controller driver which is required but is not currently installed".

Can somebody tell what I need to install first? System management homepage is already installed.

Frank, you cannot install insight managements agents for servers on DeskPro.
System management homepage also not supported on Deskpro, therefore I suggest to uninstall it.
You can install Insight Management Agent for Clients

in spite of the fact that the Insight agents for clients are end of life from 12/2003 and are no supported.
