topic One trap from compiled MIB is not registering in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Hi,

I am looking for some troubleshooting help. I compiled the CA BrightStor Arcserve MIB, ASMIB.MIB, and the backup software sends traps to my Systems Insight Manager installation. For the most part there is no problem, but if a backup job fails, no event is created in SIM. Arcserve claims to be sending the SNMP packet, so I don't know whether it's lying to me or whether SIM is not receiving it. Or is a MIB problem?

So here's my question - does SIM keep track of SNMP packets it receives in any sort of log? Or is there some sort of debugging that I can be used to find out?

Thanks,
- Steve Kadish
